A semi-rigid structure where you can hang your luggage without it touching the horse.
Placed on the panels, and fixed to the saddle buckles, the luggage rack becomes integral with the saddle. Its weight is then only carried by the saddle. The ballants protect the horse's sides from friction.
The removable panniers are simply slipped into the straps and can be removed quickly.
The luggage rack:
The luggage rack is not in contact with the horse's back at all. It can be used with all Gaston Mercier saddles equipped with a buckle at the back.
The bags :
The removable panniers are made of water-repellent fat leather, 2 interior compartments, hermetic flap. They are independent of the luggage rack.
