Eki’Socks – Chap’Socks – Tonic’Socks: Three ranges of technical socks geared towards innovation …
Each range is transverse (like our saddles) but has its own “DNA” with technical specifications adapted to a specific use.
Designed entirely for the practice of equestrian sports, Gaston Mercier socks are the fruit of the experience and research work carried out for many years by the entire team of upholstery.
These socks bring you optimal comfort and thermoregulation in all seasons, is the most versatile of the three ranges Gaston Mercier. It is more adapted to everyday equestrian practices: training and short hikes. Reinforced knitting of the Eki’Socks improves the hold, reduces vibrations and movements, delays the feeling of fatigue. The ventilation of the mesh under the foot and on the tibia allows a better evacuation of perspiration. We also looked after the “look” with a range of 6 trendy colors available in 4 sizes.
The objective (reached) was: “On foot or on horseback, no more pebbles in the shoe! It is a technical sock more suited to work on horseback but also on foot. We added a protective flap held by an elastic, thus preventing stones, chips, straws and sawdust from getting into the shoe. Three colors are available in 4 sizes.
With a new compression technique, it’s “THE” pair of socks adapted to equestrian endurance practices (competitions, long hikes).
Why is a compression zone built into the Tonic’Socks?
Because degressive compression accelerates the speed of blood flow, produces a reduction in oxygen consumption and resistance to burnout. This compression also exerts a massage and a drainage of the toxins produced during a sports activity. This range of socks keeps all the technicality of its little sister Eki’Socks, with the addition of a reinforced kick that will give you even more comfort. Six colors are available in 4 sizes.
